My heart has been stirred with this thought I can't escape... Action is the key to God’s heart. In the middle of a hurricane that just passed through our city I found my faith standing strong. Watching trees blow and bend every way they possibly could I watched and watched the raging wind yet had peace in my heart knowing all would be ok. I trusted God would keep my family safe. He is a good God and He did! In the past I was gripped with fear because I allowed myself to be surrounded by the news and reports that spelled out fearful words...emergency… disaster… prepare for the worst… But this time I read the Word, spoke the Word, and I saw the Word stand strong when all looked bad! I put action with my faith and overcame the past!
If you have not or are not seeing God move in your life I want to encourage you to put action with your faith! Put action in sharing the Good News of Jesus, sharing your testimony, or even something simple like helping your neighbor pick up branches in their yard. Allow Jesus to work in you and and through you! Look for opportunities and open door for you to share more! If you have never put action with your faith and feel you can’t identify to what faith looks like do not be discouraged. God is there right by your side. He knows your heart and loves your heart! Simply say yes to Him and obey what He says. Your life will never be the same! Take a step of faith today!
