Behind the Cabin Door November 2022: "Living a life with Jesus doesn't mean your life will ever be perfect, but the story shouldn't end there!..."
During this Thanksgiving season my insides have screamed out how thankful I am that I walk through life with Jesus! It has been a hard season this year for my family, multiple family deaths, business and work changes, friends and loved ones that have come and gone, confusing conversations that has left me with no answers... But God has been with me! He has never left my side during every moment I have felt alone. When I have felt too weak inside to take another step He reminds me of His words He spoke to one of his disciples who may have felt some of the same things...
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9...
Living a life with Jesus doesn't mean your life will ever be perfect. In fact, The Word tells us how there will be persecutions and hard times that will come to believers. But the story shouldn't end there! We have a grace, faith, and hope living through us by Jesus that transforms all the hard times to good times! The hard hard times and times of pain and hurt build a strong character inside of us so that will leave us with not lacking anything! Jesus living in us and through us, we have everything we need!
I am in celebration today that God has given me the tools I need to live and breathe again! I want to encourage you friend to look at your hard times through a filter of, "this is not the end". If Jesus is living inside your heart and you obey His Word every hard time will be the beginning of something new! He always has new and exciting days meant for us to live! Be encouraged by the refreshing words from the Bible when you don't have words to speak yourself. Allow God to put HIs words and His purpose to your life in your heart. Think on the end goal which is seeing Jesus face to face! Obey the littles moments when He leads and speaks to you, He desires to still use you even during the pain! As you do that you will truly see His plans start to unfold in your life! As you obey in your season of hardships you will see that even when you are weak you will desire to boast all the more gladly, so that Christ’s power may rest on you! 2 Corinthians 12:9.
