Behind the Cabin Door June 2026: "God still causes ALL things to work together for the good!..."

Three years ago, my family experienced the unexpected loss of our child. Shortly after, my health declined, leading to multiple emergency room visits and months of recovery. Life felt confusing, lonely, and uncertain.

When my health improved, we began praying and hoping for another baby. Year after year passed with no answer, but we continued to trust God and move forward one day at a time.

Then, on Christmas Eve 2025, after countless pregnancy tests, I took another one and saw a positive result. I was pregnant!!!

Looking back, I couldn’t always see the good God was working through those difficult years. But He never forgot about me or my family. He remained faithful through every loss, every prayer, and every desire and season of waiting.

Now, just weeks away from meeting our son, Samson Reuben Ax, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for God’s love, faithfulness, and promises! God is still working all things out for the good!

I encourage you to take some time this week to revisit your past—not to dwell on the hurt, but to recognize the ways God has faithfully brought good from difficult circumstances. Think about the lessons He taught you, the strength He built within you, the doors He opened, and the blessings that came in unexpected ways. As you reflect, may your heart be reminded that the same God who was faithful then is faithful now. Trust Him with your present circumstances, knowing that He is still working all things together for your good too!
