Last month I wrote how God wanted to give us a clean slate...
The Holy Spirit, who is a person connected to God, and the freedom of how He comes to us has brought division in the past in many circles. First, let me declare over you today, "God does not want you to to live life in the past, live in division or live in a circle or cycle of life that just keeps going around and around. He is fresh bread every day!" I hear God speaking to us in this season to position ourselves to receive Him and what He wants to do with us. He wants to fill us with the Holy Spirit! He wants to fill us with POWER that may have been missing in our lives! Have you ever felt you should talk to someone about Jesus but then felt too scared to start? I sure have! It's time for God's people to live as God's people, with no fear or intimidation but with power from the Holy Spirit!
"Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. He told them, “This is what is written: The Messiah will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance for the forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” Luke 24-45-49
If you speak in tongues that's great and God loves that and desires that connection for all His people but the Holy Spirit doesn't stop there He still has more!!! I encourage you to schedule some time TODAY you can be alone with God and truly receive what He wants to give you, don't get in a hurry. Simply say yes, obey, and get ready to walk in power!

Many, many years ago while I was a teenager in youth group I remember my youth pastor speaking to us one evening with such fervency in his heart. His desire was to prepare us with the Word to share the Gospel.
"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you,
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Acts 1:8
