Behind the Cabin Door January 2024: “If you have a vision you will prosper! Start writing, posting, and putting action..."
2024 has already been an exciting month! Our family is excited about what God wants to do in our lives and He has already given us a plan….
I came across this on the internet recently:
Blindness is a lack of vision. It may also refer to a loss of vision that cannot be corrected with glasses or contact lenses. Partial blindness means you have very limited vision. Complete blindness means you cannot see anything and do not see light. (Most people who use the term "blindness" mean complete blindness.)
Although this is an actual term for natural blindness I have seen this same blindness effecting God’s people. I for one, do not want to live my life in blindness! God is so good! He has given us the answer to not living life in blindness!
Proverbs 29:18 “Without a vision the people perish..” I love how clear and to the point this is written!
So on the flip side, could this means that WITH a vision the people will prosper!? Yes! I believe this is God’s heart for us! To not be in lack of any good natural or spiritual thing He has for us and has already given us! To live as and look like His children on earth! Whatever we believe and agree about in prayer we will have it and LIVE LIFE in it! Matthew 21:22
My family took God’s Word into action and together we have each written down goals/ a vision to follow! I encourage you to join us in this new year by setting yourself up with a vision for success, blessings, and peace!
Start writing your goals/ vision by answering these questions…
- What is that deep desire, God has given you, that keeps you up at night because you are not doing anything about it?
- What has God told you to do for yourself personally and for your family?
- What is that thing or action you did, in a time past, that when you are by yourself you are thinking, “I am so glad I did this today!” and you feel peace inside your heart?
Allow the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, and speak to your heart! When He shows you I encourage you to write it down and post it where you can see your vision! Then simply say yes and obey! Put action with it and watch what He will do in your life and through your obedience!
