Loving God’s Word series 6
Read the Word: Matthew 4:1-11
*Focus on verse 4
Read & talk through all verses with your child:
1-4 “Jesus fasting & being tempted by the devil…”
5-7 “Do not put the Lord your God to the test…”
8-11 “Worship the Lord your God & serve him only…”
Play/ Connect: Memorize Matthew 4:4 together with your child! Write or type out two small Bible verse cards, keep one, & give the other to your child. Take turns reading it a couple of times together, then make a plan to memorize God’s Word together!

Pick out a pastry or cupcake & race to see who can eat it the fastest!
Pray: God’s Word will continue to come alive inside of your kids! Declare that the Word of God is coming in &the Word of God is coming out of them! Amen!
