Read the Word: Psalm 119:105 -112

* Focus on verses 105 & 106

Read & talk through all verses with your child:

105-106  “Your Word is a light & I will obey…”

107- 109 “Preserve me, teach me, & a promise to God!”

110-112 “Not straying from God’s Word, His Word is our  heritage, & a heart set on obedience…”

 Play/ Connect: Memorize Psalm 119: 105 & 106 together with your child! Write or type out two small Bible verse cards, keep one, and give the other to your child. Take turns reading it a couple of times together, then make a plan to memorize God’s Word together!

If you have a pool, sit & dip your your feet into the water while you read & talk! After, have a swim race from one side to the other!

If you don’t have a pool, have a race with your feet where you put small items on the floor on one side of you, pick them up with your toes, & move them to the other side of you! Ideas: beans, marbles, or pen caps!

Pray: God’s Word will be a lamp to their feet & a light on every step they take!
